ella ruby is an indie/folk singer-songwriter from seattle, washington. she was raised on rainstorms and touts an excessive love of books. the past few years have found her studying ancient history, playing with clay, and getting over her exes.

ella ruby’s songs have been described as "delicate," "focused," and "passive aggressive" (ha), and her sound and style are primarily inspired by billie marten, brandi carlile, julie byrne, and shannon lay.

her debut EP, baby blue, was released on october 14th, 2022, and her newest single, 'falling out of love,' was released on june 30, 2023.
