last year explores the frustration of getting over someone – longing to remember how things were at the same time as you're longing to forget, savoring the way they linger in your subconscious all while grieving the loss of a relationship.

the first single from ella ruby's debut EP, baby blue,
was released on april 12, 2022.

the single is called baths. it traverses ella ruby's relationship to her body, to childhood, and to the comforting and convoluted notion that we all exist alongside all the past and future versions of ourselves.
